Why should Gods word be taken as literal in meaning?
Does God lie? Can God lie? There are many stories (books and websites)about God’s word being lost, mistranslated, books being lost or omitted etc… These are just opinions of those who wrote books to make money and discredit God. They claim to have this true evidence about this, but when it is research to it’s fullest, it everytime, turns out to be either a view of another person. Or something that was thought up and presented as documented proof. All in all, you have to make the decision whether you would rather believe in the opinions of man or the opinions of God. For it was the Son of God that died on the cross for us. No man can claim this. God’s power is in the truthfulness of His word. This is why it is being attacked so much for being literal truth. To deny it’s truth is to deny God’s existence. Both Christians and non-Christians attak God’s word being literal truth. It is a thing that even God’s word said would come.
