Why should clubs participate in CKI Service Week 2011?
By participating in CKI Service Week, clubs will be dedicating a week of service to their communities. In all, up to 13,000 college students could participate. CKI Service Week is a marketable event that clubs can get excited about. It’s a great event that will help clubs earn publicity, build awareness and recruit new members. The event also is a chance for the incoming club boards and the outgoing club boards to collaborate and CKI Service Week can serve as a celebratory event. In the Kiwanis family, CKI members perform the most community service hours per member and CKI Service Week is a chance to highlight this on college campuses and college communities around the world. Additionally, all participating clubs will receive recognition at the Circle K International Convention this June in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The CKI Service Committee will also award the club with the highest number of service hours during CKI Service Week with a basket full of goodies. The CKI Service Committee
