Why should Christians believe in seven day creation?
This article is addressed to those who are saved, yet do not believe in seven day creation. This is not an issue of salvation, but of credibility and belief in the truth of the Bible. We as the Church are undermining the Bibles validity by bending its historic record of Creation in order to agree with scientific theories. The Bible is not compatible with millions of years and it is not compatible with evolution. When we try to tie the Bible to these theories we only tie a noose around the neck of the church. Educated people can see where the belief of these theories falsifies the Bible. When they are told, “Jesus loves you. The Bible tells you so,” they say, “Why should we believe what the Bible says? Even you Christians dont believe it!” And theyre right! If we dont stand up and say that the Bible is true from the first word, then we cant expect them to believe Matthew, Mark, Luke and John any more than we believe Genesis.
