Why should a student make an appointment to see a counselor, sometimes waiting days or weeks in advance to be seen, if they are looking for answers that they can actually find themselves?
This FAQ has been developed to be a source where students can find their own answers to their own questions. In addition, this FAQ was essentially developed by students. The questions listed are those that students have asked counselors, staff, faculty, and other students. This is considered a living document so if you have a question that is not in the FAQ, please give it to Steve Schultz, Vice President of Student Services (email it to him at sschultz@portervillecollege.edu or take it by his office in AC-126). The question and corresponding answer will then be added to the FAQ.
