Why Service Vaporizers?
1. CLINICAL ACCURACY To ensure the vaporizer is delivering the correct concentration of anesthetic agent it needs to be calibrated. It is recommended that this function check is to be performed every 12 months. Calibration is performed using our state-of-the-art laser refractometer ensuring the accuracy to plus (+) or minus (-) 5% at any given dial setting therefore giving the clinical staff unparalleled confidence in their equipment. 2. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Complete overhaul of the vaporizer involves replacing all gaskets, seals and O rings, removing and replacing wicks and performing leak tests. This procedure ensures trouble free performance during clinical procedures. 3. ECONOMICAL Serviced vaporizers ensure expensive anesthetic agent is not wasted through leakage. Accurate delivery also removes the need to increase agent delivery to compensate for leakages into the atmosphere. 4. HEALTH & SAFETY Unserviced vaporizers have the potential to leak agent into the O.R. atmosphere caus
