During this recession many companies are reluctant to spend money to send their employees to far off seminars, and many individuals are unwilling to incur travel expenses to attend seminars. Due to low turn out and dropping participation, many seminar marketers have found the need to develop new ways of reaching their potential prospects, these include; online seminars or webcasts, podcasts, online videos, and video or audio blogs. While these new methods have helped some seminar marketers, it has not been enough to make up for the lost revenue from declining seminar attendance. Many seminar marketers have seen drops in seminar attendance, while experiencing increase interest in the seminar materials. This increase demand for seminar content that is tangible has opened new avenues for seminar marketers.
