Why Save Toonami?
Toonami is in critical condition. To the people that have a problem facing the facts, it’s the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. I’ve been covering Toonami here on CNX for almost three years, and to be honest, that’s the state I see Toonami at this moment. The block isn’t dead yet. It’s still on the air and will be seeing an expansion this year. Unfortunately, the “expansion” of sorts will come at the expense of the cable lineup and the eventual watering down of the franchise based upon idiotic actions of an even higher power, the company’s new leader. I didn’t want to believe it at first, and still don’t, but my head has overpowered my heart this go around, and it’s time to tell the truth. Toonami isn’t dead, yet, but it definitely in critical condition. There are changes. There are some good, but there’s a lot that is bad. In this address to the fans, I want to explain it all. I don’t want you all to become ballistic and rant and rave about it on the Revolution Board or anywhere else
