Why resizing an image object why does the selection area (the dashed box) not match the size of the image?
An image object contains not just the image, but can also include text, shadows and a border, all of which need to be included within the image object area. Also naturally an image needs to maintain its original aspect ratio, i.e. even if an image object box is very narrow a landscape image still needs to be displayed as such rather than stretched out as a portrait.
