Why purchase kiln-dried firewood?
Kiln-dried firewood has less mess, no bugs (no spread of Emerald Ash Borer) and is moisture tested for an optimal burn. We sell kiln-dried premium firewood split into fireplace size. Firewood is sold in pre-measured, face cord increments (a pickup load) Seasonal wood mixes include: Winter Mix — oak and ash mix specifically for heating Summer Mix — various woods for outdoor recreational campfires We also sell 8-foot log length wood for those who use outdoor wood burners. These logs are discounted from the fireplace length prices but are not kiln-dried. ***Note — if price comparing, be sure to compare by measurement. All true face cords should measure 4′ x 8′ x 16″ when stacked. A face cord is 1/3 of a full cord. A full cord, stacked, measures 4′ x 4′ x 8′. It takes three pickup loads to equal a true full cord.
