Why Property Insurance?

Constructing a church building for more ministry can be one of the most exciting times in the life of a church. It can also, however, be a stressful time, including late-night design meetings, financial pressures and keeping congregations excited during the process. One area in which advance planning can help reduce stress is property insurance. Insurance is generally described as a necessary evil in construction. Some building committees sense temptation to resist paying premiums for property insurance, thinking theyre saving their churches money. After all, whats the worst that could happen, right? Wrong.
