Why Professionals Choice Neoprene Breast Collar?
The butterball would sweat profusely when asked to do more than eat. So, we decided on a neoprene, rather than leather, as it doesn’t absorb sweat. Of course it does get damp, but this allows the neoprene to become slick, reducing chafing and galling. The neoprene is attached to the breast collar by a hook and loop for easy removal for cleaning and/or replacement. It has a weaved nylon outer lining that allows for some stretch. The nylon comes in seven different colors. I have black, brown, and green. The Professionals Choice Neoprene Breast Collar has stainless steel D-rings that won’t rust and are tough enough for the job. There is a D-ring on the front strap, in the center, for attaching a tie-down from the breast collar to the bridle. In casual trail riding I have seen it used on horses that like to toss their heads or flip over backwards.
