Why produce a book just addressing desserts, when people are trying to lose weight?
A It is not really such a challenge to change regular cooking recipes to low-carb, however, desserts do pose a challenge for many people. It is not something I would recommend one eat every day, however, it is not out of line to have a treat on the weekend or if company comes over or even to take to a coffee shop, where you will be meeting a friend, who will indulge in a high-carb treat before you. This book addresses the need for sweet, comfort foods that will be required from time to time and especially at times like special holidays.
