Why prints as opposed to painting or sculpture?
Lots of reasons. Prints are less expensive and therefore more democratic. Prints are magical, subject to what German printmaker, René Böll calls “the alchemy” of printmaking, which never ceases to bewitch and surprise even printmakers themselves. Then too, Maureen, my muse and helpmate is a printmaker.
