Being raised as a Christian and having attended a Presbyterian church my entire life I knew when the time came to look for a retirement location for my grandma it would be at one of the Presbyterian retirement communities. Sure enough that is exactly what grandma wanted. So we began investigating some communities… It appears there are several good Presbyterian retirement communities in several different states. We currently live in North Carolina and I have found a few here as well. Our main concern was the type and amount of care that would be available for grandma. I had read up on some very nice Presbyterian communities in Seattle, Houston, and parts of Georgia. They all seemed to offer good quality care, large spacious apartment like units, and a high level of comfort for the residents. The one in Seattle spoke of how it promotes health and well being.
