Careful pre-planning for telephone facilities substan¬tially increases the value of a building, the associated rentability and protects the building aesthetics. It affords the owner and occupant flexibility in future planning so that subsequent telephone installations, rearrangements, and maintenance can be readily and economically ac¬complished without unduly disrupting the daily business operations of the building occupants.
