It is important to colleges that students graduate from high school in an accredited program. We will seek accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), which is recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a valid private school accrediting organization. (Private schools in Texas cannot be directly accredited by the TEA). According to ACSI, schools must be in existence for two years prior to applying for accreditation. Therefore, we will add one grade per year and with the first graduating class in 2010, those students will graduate from an accredited high school. Mrs. Wendy Smith, our administrator, has been through this process on three occasions and has been a part of accreditation teams with ACSI.
