Why Pluto had been Deleted From the List of Planets ?
Back in the 1930s, Clyde Tombaugh found the biggest object that orbit beyond Neptune. Excited, they called it a new planet and Pluto. Over the years, they realized Pluto behaved more like an icy rock than a planet. It has also an unusual elliptical orbit, some times taking it closer to the sun than Neptune. In fact, between 1979 and 1998, its orbited closer to the sun than Neptune. Over the years, they also found the Kuplier Belt which is a collection of icy objects that orbit further than Neptune. It was subsequently found Pluto has similar characteristics with these objects and astronomers suspected Pluto to be an escaped object from the belt. Recently, astronomers found another Kuplier object to be bigger than Pluto and realized there are thousands of them in the belt. They reasoned if Pluto was to be regarded as a planet, this new object must also be regarded as a planet and the thousands that have yet to be discovered. They then reasoned that this would make the categorization of
