Why Planet Revolve Around the Sun in Eliptical shape not in Round Shape ?
They are the result of a lot of rocks gathering together in the accretion disk that was orbiting the sun. The clumping of the main mass that became our planet was not completely symmetrical. This was true to some degree with all the planets. It doesn’t take much to push the forming protoplanet slightly away from a circular orbit. here’s a demonstration. If you can picture it, you probably won’t need to do it. Imagine a weight hanging from a string from the top of a doorway so that it almost touches the floor. Now with it hanging straight down, determine the center. Now hold it out several inches and try to push it so that it goes around in a perfect circle. A round cutout of cardboard or a large plate could be placed on the floor, centered. Watch how difficult it is to push the weight so that it goes perfectly around the circle.
