Why Person Centred Counselling?

0

I work as a Person Centred Counsellor because I believe it is a kind and helpful model of counselling. The essence of this model of counselling is that I aim to give the client unconditional positive regard (which means I will be non-judging or condemning) and to empathise with how he or she feels in the situation that they are in, and be genuine in helping them find a solution to the problem. I endeavour to help each client to work in ways which respect their values, their personal inner resources and within their cultural context.
