Why people would move to Norway?

My boyfriend and I moved to Norway for various reasons: -the scenery is incredible and one of our main interests is being outdoors (hiking, camping, sailing, etc), for which Norway is fantastic -we’re both students, and there are no tuition costs for university (except taxes) -it’s a safe place that encourages raising a family (long parental leave, inexpensive health care and education, lots of opportunities for kids) -taxes and prices are high but so are wages; we love to travel and it makes trips to other places much easier financially -the pace of life is fairly slow and simple, which is a nice change for me at least, who has always lived in big cities (my boyfriend is from a tiny island in the middle of nowhere, so not so much for him) -quieter social life, which my boyfriend enjoys after his hectic student years in the UK -inspiring creative scene for art/music, and the time to pursue hobbies -right environment for our planned careers It’s pretty boring unless you have your own ho
