Why people think life els where in the universe is so advance ?
Both the question of life elsewhere in the universe and it being more advanced is simply a matter of odds and statistics. Even if the odds of a planet harbouring life are a million to one, there is life throughout the galaxy and the universe. Given the size of the known universe, there are billions of galaxies, containing trillions of stars. That is a known fact. So, if a reasonable percentage of these stars have planets (something which is becoming more and more likely as we improve our ability to detect exoplanets and are finding them all over the place), then there are trillions and trillions and trillions of planets out there. Even if only a small portion of them are habitable and conducive to life as we know it (or even as we don’t yet know it), then there is a pretty good chance that life in one form or another is all over the placce in this massive universe.
