Why people seek Therapy?

0

Many of the people I have worked with, have decided to seek therapy to improve or work through conflicts in their interpersonal relationships( with their partner/couple , family, friends, co-workers), to better deal with cultural adjustment issues they are struggling with, to understand and work through past or current issues that are limiting their life’s possibilities and overall satisfaction, as well as for personal growth and self-improvement. Individuals and couples I see may be dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, social discomfort( social anxiety, shyness) , a history of trauma or sexual abuse, infidelity, a significant loss, spiritual conflicts, parenting issues and lack of life meaning and direction.
