It is definately not for fun.Geography is a science after all.How can we make fun of science?It is very deeply associated with our arts,culture and mostly economy.There have been wars and freedom struggles in history to change the empire maps.Using a word ‘funny’ for geography is lack of understanding its importance on your part.
