Why Pan Am 103?

Pierre Salinger, in his copyrighted 2000 article in The Georgetowner entitled “Lockerbie Defendants Are Innocent” tells the truth too although he had the year incorrectly stated as 1988 instead of the correct year which was 1987. To fully understand why Pan Am 103 was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland, one must journey back to July 3, 1987 over the Persian Gulf. I had just graduated from UCLA on June 20, 1987 so the memory is as fresh today as it was then because Ali and I were together. A naval submarine for the United States deliberately blew up an Iranian air bus carrying tourists from Iran to Kuwait that summer day.
