Why OSU NROTC?
If you have come this far, then you are probably considering becoming a Midshipman (an outstanding decision). But, there are dozens of Universities out there that offer NROTC programs. So the question you may have is: Why should I choose OSU NROTC? Answer: Well there are many reasons OSU Midshipmen give for their decision to attend OSU. Among them are: Many Midshipmen are from Ohio, and Columbus is centrally located just about two hours away from anywhere in the state. It is far enough away to get that true “college experience” yet close enough to jet on home for the weekend. There is the always Big 10 powerhouse Buckeye Football!!! Nothing in the world is like OSU Football in “The Shoe.” You can literally smell the football fever in the air as the entire campus gleams with scarlet and gray.
