Why Orange Ducting?
Datacenters must meet today’s challenging redundancy issues. The yellow coloured ducting therefore needs an additional colour to make redundant pathways visible. Quintis introduces an orange coloured system. It has the same benefits as the yellow ducting that has been in the market for over 10 years. Now you can make redundant pathways and make them visible for every user. Why Black Ducting? Parallel to the redundancy needs, a new issue came up: The state-of-art 10Gigabit copper UTP cabling also has very high demands on bending radii. This implements a new approach to the conventional metal cable trays (ladders, baskets etc). The conventional metal trays are not designed to provide safe bending radius. This is why Quintis introduced the Black Ducting. It has all the benefits of the Fiber Ducting, and if it works for fiber it will work for copper too!
