Once you have had a chance to download and work with Volantis Mobility Server you will know whether you want to deploy it into a live environment. In order to deploy a supported product (that is, if you want the security of professional, on-demand support, regular product updates and regular online updates to the device database) you will need to migrate to Volantis Mobility Server Professional Edition. As well as being supported, this gives you access to the full Device Database. If you want to use any of the additional Volantis applications such as Storefront, you’ll need to be on a supported version as they are not yet certified to run on the Volantis Mobility Server Community Edition. When we do certify, pricing for future versions of Storefront, etc., will include support for Volantis Mobility Server.
