Why only anti-fungal agent was sprayed?
As Chromobacteria requires moisture for growth water was sprinkled. Fungus grows readily in presence of moisture on nearly any substrate and during initial isolation Chromobacteria requires nearly uncompetitive environment as it is a fragile organism and fungus if overgrows, which it does very often makes it nearly impossible for isolation of Chromobacteria.
