Why only 4 tubs in the MCB-L and 4 tubs in the CB-70 racks?
There are a couple of reasons for this. First is the shipping size. These racks have been optimized to meet the UPS optimal sizing. While we aren’t as lucky with the shipping costs through UPS like they are in the US, these sizes work well for other shipping companies using their actual weight vs dimensional weight. Also these sizes are using optimal cutting out of the plastic sheets where very little waste is created so the cost per rack is more efficient. Another nice bonus with the four tub design is that you can comfortably stack three units high (just over 6 feet total), giving you 12 tubs in the same space as the usual 10 tubs you would get out of two 5 high racks. Two of these racks stacked is less than 5 feet high! I really like the additional housing that gives and I bet you will too. The other reason for this is these designs are optimized to get the best cutting available out of a 4X8 sheet plastic creating very little waste. This keeps the pricing down while making the most
