Why one size treatment for different sized engines?
A. The recommended treatment of FX4 is between 5% – !0% of sump capacity depending on the engine revs and loadbearing characteristics of car engines. As smaller engines tend to run at higher revs and under greater load it is advisable to use a higher percentage of FX4 in a smaller engine than in a lower revving engine. One 250ml bottle is sufficient for any car or transit van. For commercial vehicles the recommended usage is 5% of the sump capacity (i.e. 250ml per gallon of oil).
