Why on Earth Own a Freshwater Fish Aquarium?
With lots of hobbies around the world, both weird and wonderful, strange and normal, we often ask ourselves why on earth would someone be interested in doing such a hobby? Of course, each person has their own tastes and what is uninteresting to one is fascinating to another. Owning a freshwater fish aquarium is just so interesting, fascinating, rewarding and relaxing, you wouldn’t believe it. Most of my life fish aquariums have done nothing for me because I saw them, as I suspect most peope do, as just a tank full of water and a few fish. Once you get into this hobby or business it can easily consume you, if you know what I mean. It certainly is not just a tank full of fish. This is rather like an on going mini landscape that you are constantly changing, adding to and taking away from.
