Why oh why selectors & Sangakkara favors some players than others…..?
Its better to give youngsters opportunities so that they can get good experience in international cricket.Just look at the Indian side or the Australian side or the England side.They have been giving good chances to young players.Infact England won its first international tourney with the help of Lumb,Eoin Morgan,Bresnan,etc. If you always rely upon experience it makes it difficult to guide your youngsters.Srilanka has more than half the team who are 30 +.And even the others are well experienced,so its better to chose the youth.Chandimal,Perera,Randiv are doing well and they need to be given more opportunities.Dropping Jayasuriya for the Asia cup is a good decision because he is already 40 + and is also underperforming.Same goes with Samaraweera,Welegedra who have not been doing well.
