Why offer anodized and un-anodized manifolds?
We offer the Forsa manifolds anodized as they are ready to go and install in the car. We make the effort to have the manifolds anodized, as aluminum that has just been polished will look great…for a while. Then it will eventually oxidize, stain, and generally discolor. To keep it looking nice you have to keep polishing it. I don’t know about you, but we have better things to do. Anodizing seals the aluminum and also gives it that shine that not only looks good but helps reflect heat.
