Why off-spin bowling then?
KM: Our pitches are very slow. They don’t suit fast bowling but to be honest with you, the main reason I became a spin bowler is a guy called Raman Lamba, who died here (in 1998). Back in 1986-87, Raman was a professional at Cliftonville Cricket Club and when he saw me, he told me to change from medium-pace to off-spin to further my cricket career.
