WHY NOT USE THIS PROCESS FOR YOUNG INFANTS AGE < 1 WEEK OLD?
• The process on young infant chart is designed for infants age 1 week up to 2 months. It greatly differs from older infants and young children. In the first week of life, newborn infants are often sick from conditions related to labor and delivery.
