Why not use the existing Orlando Street/Watsonia Avenue roundabout as the access point to the new Hogbin Drive for residents?

The traffic committee, consisting of representatives from the NSW Police, Roads & Traffic Authority, Bus and Coach Association and Coffs Harbour City Council have advised that a 5 road roundabout is not suitable at Orlando Street. The safest option that will create the least congestion is aseagull intersection at the southern end of Watsonia Avenue.
