Why not use MS Internet Explorer instead of FireFox?
MSIE is a dangerous program designed by MS to allow remote servers access to your computer’s registry. Although designed for use by MS to allow easy updating of the Windows Operating System, this feature could be used by any site to access your IP address, even your machine ID and your personal registration details or worse, far worse, your saved pass phrases. This can be done even if you have logged onto a site through a chain of proxies. In other words Microsoft Internet Explorer is an absolute no-no as far as anonymity is concerned. As alternatives, I have already mentioned FireFox and Mozilla.
