You can, but you’ll lose sales. The best free graphics sites are well known, and their images are on hundreds, if not thousands of sites. If a customer knows you’ve invested precious little into your online presence they will quite naturally be suspicious of your professionalism. It’s your business, if it’s not worth investing in, consumers know it! It’s also much harder to coordinate the look of your site using free graphics. For the most professional look, and therefore the best credibility graphics can give you, your site needs a well-coordinated, integrated look. You won’t get that using freebies.
