Why not use free accounts instead of Aliases?
Please consider the following points if you want to use free email accounts: • This is probably counter-productive because free email accounts tend to attract a lot of spam. Some providers create their own spam (called newsletters, special offers, promotions, etc.), while others simply sell your email address. • Managing several free accounts may be a nightmare. In fact, you only move the problem from one email account to others. It does not stop junk email – it just splits it among several email addresses that you still need to check. • It is more and more likely that online merchants will refuse your order. This is because much fraud is associated with these free accounts. Consequently, some merchants simply refuse to accept orders that originate from them. • You will lose your account if you do not use it within a certain time. It is a problem because you will have to notify all your “true” contacts that your address is no longer valid.
