Webcams and Internet Cameras are very inexpensive ways to convert camera video to IP Video. These units do a very poor job of video compression and can be unusable over many Internet connections. IndigoVision IP Video uses H.264 & MPEG-4 compression with bandwidth limiting algorithms. IndigoVision was used at the last 3 Olympic Games and is the only product that we use over broadband wireless systems. Other IP Video products demand up to 8 times the bandwidth required by IndigoVision!
