One word…RELIABILITY! File transfers are often interrupted due to lost Internet connections, database malfunctions or other reasons. Web site-based upload systems do not accommodate interrupted file transfers except to require that the entire upload be resent until a successful transfer has been completed. This results in missed deadlines, high levels of customer dissatisfaction and general inefficiencies.
