Even with relatively short distances, an air ambulance could be the best way to transport a patient with special medical needs. Our goal at Platinum Air Ambulance is to have the patient out of the facilities a minimal amount of time. We believe that the most appropriate place for a patient to be is at a facility with his/her doctor and nursing staff, not hours in an uncomfortable ambulance.
