Why not switch to the greek gods like Aphrodite?
Well first Allah is another name for God, Jesus, and Mohamed were not Gods, The native American Spirits serve man kind all the time, no serve is not the right word, work together with man to try and better ourselves, even though we don’t deserve any help for the mess we are in. And there is only one God, he is the God of Love, Hope, care, the earth, the sky, the God of Fun and yes he will sit by and watch us kill ourselves again why should he stop us, we have brought the suffering upon us, we need more Love to give and share to each and everyone, no matter the colour of the skin, or the belief that person has.
There is nothing to stop worship of Classical gods and goddesses. There exists a cult in Greece and some people in the UK who claim to be Maenads (Dionysus worshippers). They were one of several groups who campaigned for the return of the Elgin marbles to theier proper place on the Temple Of Athena Parthenos (the Parthenon in other words, with Parthenos being Greek for celibate or virgin). There exists several practical issues though. FIrstly there are literally thousands of deities in the Greek/Roman religious system. Also, few details actually exist as to the rituals and ceremonies that were preformed for each god. Some gods like Aphrodite were only worshipped by women, and their rites were secret. Few pieces of religious equipement have also survived, and few temples would be in a satisfactory state to hold ceremonies.
