Why not just use a free service like MySpace or Facebook?
You’ve probably heard in the news that you don’t own the content you put on social services sites like Facebook. If you read the fine print, you’ll also see that you aren’t allowed to use your MySpace site for commercial purposes without autorization. You also don’t have as much control over the design and customization. You aren’t allowed to make money from ads. And once you close your account, who knows when it will resurface again without your knowledge?
