The study looked at that option. The option did not provide for any operational savings or accomplish other improvements such as moving to larger enrollments, providing more full time support service and increase instructional improvements of increased staff collaboration, focused staff development and curriculum alignment. Other options achieve more of the desired outcomes and provide operational savings that will be used to improve opportunities for students including lowering class sizes, full-time nursing, additional counseling services and full-time physical education/music teachers.
