Why not just get a cheaper foam pad from a discount store?
Won’t that work also? One of those might help a very small amount. But, not nearly as well as a high quality Memory foam topper. First of all discount store foam pads (usually “egg crate” foam) is very low density, which means you are buying mostly air. When you get an Advanced Concept Memory foam mattress topper, you will be amazed at how heavy it is (a direct indication of their quality and pounds density). Because of this fact, these cheap foam pads will bottom out and you will still experience pressure points and all of the associated discomfort. And to heap insult upon injury, those things wear out, and become lumpy and misshapen in no time. They are a complete waste of money. And if you can get your hands on a good quality urethane foam (not memory foam) topper it just isn’t the same. Regular foam is always a compromise between support and cushioning. It just can’t do both like memory foam can.
