Why not have a picnic at Hampton Court Palace?
Visitors may picnic on any of the benches in the gardens and there are picnic tables in the 20th Century Garden. Visitors may also picnic on the grass in the Tiltyard and Wilderness Gardens. However, the only under-cover areas are the two small pavilions by the herbaceous border behind the Tiltyard Garden. Inside the palace, visitors may picnic on the seats in the courtyards. No food or drink may be consumed inside the State Apartments.
