Why not expand the existing facility?
Since the Borough of Plum owns two properties conducive to this expansion, it has been determined that it would be more advantageous to build a new municipal complex at the property on Renton Road since the existing municipal building site could be redeveloped into a commercial development which will help fund the new municipal complex, create new jobs and add much needed non-residential tax base to the community. The existing site has over three times the amount of vehicular traffic as the property on Renton Road which is more conducive to commercial development.
