Why not employ new talent from overseas?
10 August 1995 TUDW’s recent feature concerning the so-called brain drain caused me to wonder why our industry fails to act. Why not replace those people who take up positions outside the UK with young designers from overseas?There are many talented young people beyond our shores actively seeking positions here, and many more would respond if we made it clear that they would be welcome.Let us ensure a real brain power exchange.
