Following discussions with the city of Hastings, Dakota County, and other partners, Mn/DOT has agreed to keep one lane of traffic open during painting and repairs. It would take about one month less to complete the repairs if the bridge were totally closed versus keeping one lane open at all times. However, the required detour is about 40 miles long.
